IS 1239 P(I) : 2004 Standards covers the requirement of ERW Steel tubes intended to use for water, non hazardous gases, air and steam. This standard is widely used in domestic & industrial pipe lines, agriculture & irrigation purposes.
IS 4270 : 2001 Standards covers steel tubes used for water wells, such as casing, drive pipe, housing etc. This standard widely used in industrial main line and agriculture & irrigation areas.
IS 3589 : 2001 Standards applies to steel pipes for water & sewage. It covers a huge range of diameter right from OD 168.3 mm to OD 2540.0 mm. Utkarsh have the production facility upto OD 406.4 mm. This standard is widely used in collieries for extraction of Water, Thermal Powers, Transports, industrial pipe lines, agriculture & irrigation purposes.
EN 10255:2004+A1:2007 specifies the requirements for circular non-alloy steel tubes suitable for welding and threading and provides a number of options for the finish of tube ends and coatings. This standard covers tubes of specified outside diameter 10,2 mm to 165,1 mm (thread size 1/8 to 6) in two series, medium and heavy, and three types of designated thicknesses.
AS 1074-1989 specifies requirements for threaded steel tubes and tubulars, and plain-end steel tubes suitable for screwing, and of DN 8 to DN 150 inclusive (nominal size). Three wall thicknesses of tube, designated Light, Medium, and Heavy.
ASTM A53 Standard Spec. for Pipe, Steel, Black and Hot-Dipped, Zinc-Coated, Welded and Seamless This specification covers Seamless and Welded, Black and Hot-Dipped Galvanized nominal (average) wall pipe for coiling, bending, flanging and other special purposes and is suitable for welding. Each length of pipe shall be subjected to the hydrostatic test. Also, each pipe shall be examined by a non-destructive examination method in accordance to the required practices.
