Following is the formulae that can be used for calculating the quantity of 'H' frames and other components:

'H' frames: L/B + 1) x (H/h)
Cross Brancings: (L/B) x (H/h) x 2
Base Jacks: (L/B + 1) x 2

Where

L=Scaffolding Length,

B=Bay Spacing,

H=Scaffolding Height,

h=Frame Height

Note: When height of the scaffolding is less than or equal to 20 meters, Cross Braces should be provided in alternative bays except bottom, top and end bays.
